Sand-blasted Glass

Here a resist pattern is applied to the glass and minute particles of grit are fired at it at high pressure.  An infinte variety of patterns can be created and etched in clear glass.

Glass panels treated this way can be used in all manner of applications - double glazed windows, double glazed door panels, wardrobe doors, kitchen cabinet door panels or complete cabinet doors.

Even opacity

Sand-blasting can also be used where a complete sheet of plain opaque glass is needed - where you don't want everyone to see inside your kitchen cabinets.  Or maybe for an internal door panel - the bathroom or bedroom door for instance.  The finish is very smooth, even and opaque.

Mirrors

Sand-blasting can also be applied to mirrors to good effect.

Advantages

Sand-blasting is generally a more affordable alternative to acid etched glass.
